| Proposals - Excel Export ... |
||
| TODO: DS Does this need updating? The Proposals system in SIGNZ allows you to specify a series of sites, prices and dates to build a schedule and pricing.
From there you can either export to Excel as a schedule or create Powerpoint slides of the sites. (You can now combine the two ... create Powerpoints and automatically embed the Excel schedule within it!!). The Excel export screen shown below has two current options: - The format to use (Proposal-Array, for example). These templates contain information that decide what data is exported to Excel as well as formatting (colours, fonts etc). - 'Break' or 'Split' fields. Below we have selected Major and Minor Regions (corresponding to State and Region for most Australian users, Island and Region for NZ users).
A few sample export can be seen here: - Start Date and number of months The first two samples show the dates in text. Note that the format for the display is controlled by Excel as the dates in the lower portion of the sheet have been formatted as months such as Nov 2005 whereas they are full dates at the top, 1-nov-2005. The last sample shows each column as a month and an X for those months that it is booked in. This could be changed to a tick or whatever you wish. Amongst the three samples we have also changed the 'break' settings. The first two have 'Region' splits as above, the last has a 'size' split. Naturally, the 'header' at the top of these samples could be removed or changed to suit.
